One of the best Embassy/ consulate i have visited till date.
Russian hospitality starts from the consulate itself. Security was a very friendly Bengali gentleman who assisted me to enter the consulate. Inside there are no typical hall with steel chairs to sit. The reception is actually a small lounge like area where there are comfy cushion sofas to sit . There's a very helpful Russian lady who will check all the documents and then submit to the consul inside the office. After all the documents were correct , Then i was asked to pay the visa fees. Got my visa on the second day.

Staff are friendly. One can get in easily. Bag, wallet, mobile etc is not allowed inside. There should have a system of safe keeping the items not allowed inside otherwise one has to depend on shop nearby. After getting in according to appoint time there has to be in queue according to their time slaught. Staff inside helps in this regard. Usually they opens three counters for interview.
