A Different place in kolkata and one time visit - that's all i can say.
Though the entry is absolutely free but still u will not find something great here unless u are an art lover but yes the kinetic energy walk can be appealing to u.
This place is great for u if u are an exhibitor and want a peacefull place for ur exhibition.
Please Note - I found a lot of silence and peace here with lot of positivity which justifies the 4 star

The museum opens at 10 AM and closes at 5 PM. Cameras are allowed only after paying a fee of INR 50.00. It's huge, so be prepared to spend a lot of time in case you're into history and stuff. :)

I paid advance for a Probir gupta painting sunset at bank of the ganga river with a fisherman and this gallery gave me painting from no name artist. I had a doubt and I directly contact the artist and he clarified he never make a painting like that. When I confront gallery Kolkata even after my talk with artist and asking them to get on the phone with artist the woman meghna repeating “all sales are final, go to court”. I curse my luck the day I walk in this place.

though one always find peace in painting galleries but CIMA is unlike others, its decor and taste of exhibition and installation is quite differnt. Lived the store where one can get things which reflects Bengal's culture. One should keep CIMA in tje list while Kolkata tour

It was really good.
The work was amazing better than i expected.
Even the smallest details were taken care of while making the portrait.
Personally I would say it delivers pretty nice portraits for you and for your loves one in low price.
