This place is owned by the royal family of Udaipur. Grandeur, service and hospitality is top notch. They have preserved the heritage quite tastefully and it adds a bling to the stay. In house food is wonderful, both tasty and hygienic. Room service is for tea and coffee only. The staff is courteous, welcoming and prompt. The property has two pet dogs which are real darlings. Also City Palace is about 100 meters from here and a lot of other attractions which will save you the hassle of driving around.

Staff was very rude....When we ordered food we described him clearly that vegetables should not mix with sweet sauce ...But when we got food and taste ..We called him and asked him that why sweet sauce is added in vegetables ...He replied that i am not the person who cooked food ..And when we asked for change he straight replied us no...This should not be happen again ...

Okeyesh type now. Lost its charm. Also rates apart from dosa are on the higher side. Idli and Sambar bada rates are exorbitant. Oil used to fry bada was not fresh.

Best place in Udaipur to hang out with friends & as a couple along with booze (mainly beer & wine), dance & live band playing rock & desi tunes. Saturday nights are the best.

Hotel was very nice and comfortable. Staff behavior was good. Swimming pool and gardens are the main attraction. View from the hotel is fabulous. Its very far from the city, that is the only thing where I got disappointed.
