Vikas Ashram is constructed in 1956 by Shri Vittal Rao Satpute in Guidance from Maharaj Shri Vikasanand ji. It's temple of Akmukhi Datta, Mata Annapurna, and Shakti Peeth. A very big Audumber tree is there. Every year Datta Jayanti uttsav is celebrated by people here.

This place is where all sant stay and women are prohibited to enter the location for obvious reasons. Sants are not allowed to contact or even see women as per rules of swaminarayan sampraday. If they even see women they have to fast (Nirjala Fast without water) for particular time as punishment or purification.

Its kind of a church but a Quiet place. Very well maintained as well as clean. There are lots of birds and there are also ducks. Its a place where you will get peace of mind especially as there are not much people hanging around here. For drinking water it has a water cooler+purifer here.

This place has a very rich architecture and gives us a feel as of we are in any Arabic country.
When we visited the construction was going on still it was so so beautiful that we were wondering around with awe. We went in the afternoon so it was very sunny and could not pose and click the pictures. However this hidden gem must be in everyone's list visiting Nagpur
