Good variety of starters. I had dinner buffet. They serve lots of starters which were good. The buffet layout was ok, nothing great. The desserts were also good.

It was quite a nice experience, stay and food at lalit has always been amazing. Just the reason for giving 4 star is the the price at which the stay and buffet is available.

The buffet is absolutely fabulous (for non-vegetarians, at least). Each one of the starters is very good, but the delicious basa is worth a special mention. The ambience is great, and so is the staff. Great for a get-together with friends or family.
Downers - the location is prone to heavy traffic, and of course, I wish it were more affordable.

Amazing experience.
Great staff and even polite too.
The food was very good.
The manchow soup specially was yummy.
Then the Alfredo pasta was of a kind dish.
We really relished it.

I remember visiting this place from office so many times - with team and colleagues around 2008-2010. This time, after many years i decided to take kids out for dinner - it was a spontaneous plan and China Gate was nearby.
I'm sorry to say the quality of food has really deteriorated. We ordered sweet corn soup which was full of cabbage and carrots and no corn, crispy fried lamb (with some orange drip) which was so badly fried and was very dehydrated and chewy with a sweet (synthetic) orange flavour. The haka noodles were fine. We had ordered another chicken dish in which the quality of the chicken meat wasn't great.
I'm not going back again.

The best part about this place is not their food or service, but the amazing architecture (look up) and classy background music. No slabs or columns to block your view horizontally and vertically!
