The best part about this place is not their food or service, but the amazing architecture (look up) and classy background music. No slabs or columns to block your view horizontally and vertically!

Amazing experience.
Great staff and even polite too.
The food was very good.
The manchow soup specially was yummy.
Then the Alfredo pasta was of a kind dish.
We really relished it.

I remember visiting this place from office so many times - with team and colleagues around 2008-2010. This time, after many years i decided to take kids out for dinner - it was a spontaneous plan and China Gate was nearby.
I'm sorry to say the quality of food has really deteriorated. We ordered sweet corn soup which was full of cabbage and carrots and no corn, crispy fried lamb (with some orange drip) which was so badly fried and was very dehydrated and chewy with a sweet (synthetic) orange flavour. The haka noodles were fine. We had ordered another chicken dish in which the quality of the chicken meat wasn't great.
I'm not going back again.
