This is an international airport in Madurai city in Tamil Nadu state of India.
This is a small in scale with only one runway but providing excellent service to the passengers.
Staff can speak Tamil, English and Hindi languages. They are very friendly.
Airport is kept clean and tidy. Wash rooms also maintain well. Wash room in 1st floor of the departure area is having Squatting pan.
Small duty free shop in the departure area in 1st floor which sell liquor items. Small cafeteria and money exchange service point also avilable in this floor. Money exchange service selling Sri Lankan Rupees which is helpful for those who fly to Sri Lanka from India.
