Though called as world Tamil sangam, the place is empty inside. we need more books and statues that celebrate Tamil culture that are to be placed in this building. Now it only has a Thiruvalluvar statue in front and is nearly empty inside. It is used to give practice for students who has succeeded in literary competitions every year conducted by the Tamilnadu Government. Hope in future it becomes a proud identity for Tamils.

center of the city, easy to pay a visit. It's not that impressive and awe-striking to look at, but maintained well by the officials. There are 2 inner rooms where we can see many archaeological findings and paintings which is informative and good. I liked the tamil script history portrayed in one of the rooms. Evening Light show is supposed to be good. First show will be in english and second in tamil.
