Recently we had taken the entire cremation service from Anthyesti for my uncle’s family. Their son had to arrive from London and he couldn’t get leaves so we had to freeze the dead body for about three days the team not only arranged for a freezer box but also with the preservation services that was done totally at home.. Very courteous and soft-spoken staff

It is a huge cemetery, having the grave of Michael Madhusudan Dutt near the entrance. There is no entry fee, but you need to enroll yourself in the register logbook. Some parts of the cemetary are well maintained, while some parts are not. A huge number of graves are presents starting from 1700s till date. Older ones are significantly damaged. Graves of some notable personalities are present.

For cemetery researchers the place is utterly important..yet there is rarelly any scope to enter the little premises containing very few tombs..if you are a visitor, the keeper of the cemetery will very impudently drive you away and ask you to get permission from a vague somewhere..very disappointing experience..
