রয়েল বেঙ্গল টাইগার!!! সুন্দরবন না গিয়েও যদি বাঘ মামার রূপ চাক্ষুষ করতে চান তবে চলে আসুন আলিপুর চিড়িয়াখানার টাইগার জোনে। পুরো অংশটাই স্বচ্ছকাঁচে ঘেরা, আর আপনি এর ভিতর দিয়েই দেখতে পাবেন বাঘ মামার অপরূপ রূপ। তবে বেশিরভাগ সময়ই ঘুমন্ত দেখার সম্ভাবনাটাই অধিক।কিন্তু যদি সৌভাগ্যক্রমে আপনি তার চলাফেরা ,হাই তোলা, গর্জন চাক্ষুষ করেন তাহলে মনে রাখবেন সে দিন টা কিন্তু অবশ্যই আপনার।

আলিপুর চিড়িয়াখানার অন্যতম সেরা আকর্ষণ এই সরীসৃপের ঘর। এখানে রাখা হয়েছে বিভিন্ন বিষাক্ত এবং নির্বিষ সাপ তৎসহ গোসাপ। নির্বিষ সাপ এদের মধ্যে উল্লেখযোগ্য প্রতিনিধিরা হলেন লাউডগা, কাল নাগিনী, দড়াশ, অজগর, ময়াল। বিষাক্ত সাপেদের মধ্যে রয়েছে কেউটে, ব্যান্ডেড ক্রেট, শঙ্খচূড় প্রভৃতি। আপনার সবচেয়ে নজর কাড়বে প্রমাণ আকৃতির অজগর। ইতিপূর্বে এত বড় মাপের সাপ আপনি দেখেছেন কিনা সেটাই সন্দেহ। এছাড়া রয়েছে গোসাপ, সেগুলিও আপনার মন হরণ করবে।

Nice place, but very dusty... attach with the main Alipore Zoological Garden, Kolkata...its a separate zone for elephants only... very attractive place for kids, young children... two to three elephants are present here... no separate entry fees for this elephant zone... this elephant zone is situated on the right hand side direction (moving towards PTS) when someone entered from the main smart gate of the alipore zoological garden...

Marble palace is a must watch in Kolkata. Though it is quite unknown to many people, the palace is extraordinary from both inside and outside. Entry is not always allowed. One has to convince the security guards. Otherwise ask them the procedure for a written permission to enter. The palace from outside is marvellous. It has lawn and zoo along with it. But the zoo currently don't have animals. The greatest interest will be the collectibles inside. Original painting by world famous artists, artifacts, sculptures from all over the world is present.

Loved the place.
Totally amusing place to visit.
One can have a good family time there.
Well decorated with variety of plants and trees.
Nice to see so much colourful fishes and ? all all other animals.
I would recommend others to visit the place at least once.
Can be a tourist place for the new year celebration.
