I've been going to this library forever and love it too. The amount of fees is also low.I spent many hours reading and researching here. It has all of the wonders of the larger libraries and is comfortable. It has a peaceful environment.

Almost every library in jammu gives u a 2-3 days trial so one can get acquainted with the place. But here i ws asked to pay on the very first day per day basis and worst is in the mid i ws told to change my seat n do registration if i wanted to sit further...

Collection of books is good in the discipline of history and philosophy. There are some books for competitive examination and civil services. The reading room is though not organised as a center table acts like round table discussion of early 1930s.

Good studying environment. Get daily 2 National as well as state newspaper, magazines weekly as well as monthly also. Registered ur self there and become a member of what's app where u will get daily newspapers and current affairs. Every studying facility is available like WiFi etc.
