Though not as popular as the Salar Jung Museum, this one is definitely worth visiting. It houses a selection of finest gifts and artifacts either received or collected by the Nizam's family. It is very interesting to see small scaled models of dams, universities etc. in silver to commemorate the part played by the Nizam's in their commissioning.
It also includes a working model of a lift from some 200 years back as well as a huge wardrobe.
It would be good if better care is taken of the entire museum and in particular the wardrobe which is very dimly illuminated.
