I went there to check if my power had changed in the last three years since I started wearing glasses. They were extremely professional and provided a free eye check up and glass power check up and charged me nothing. In fact they even changed the nose pads of my existing glasses for free. Awesome service.

Please dont buy glasses from specsmakers if you are a regular wear! The quality of glasses are very cheap. Brought my glass a year ago telling them i want anti scratch resist on it! They have charged for that and i spend 5000/- for it, just after 4 months scratches start appearing and got worse after few days, on my complaint and continues argument they gave me a replacement of glasses ( I must appreciate their service, indeed ) now again after few months glasses are getting worse and i am being forced to buy new glasses. I am a regular glass wearer and guess how frustrating are these scratches.? Really disappointed.

Very worst at the core. One ? is very high for their service and products. Their product is good only upto warranty that means 6 months. Small shops are much better than that this shop. My ? worked only for Six months. Now again they are asking me to purchase new glasses. I never recommend this showroom to anyone.

My bad experience with Specsmakers - Velachery
I bought a frame two years back at Velachery Specmakers. The frame had some problems with one of its handle coming out within a year and I took it to them for warranty claim, they didn't provide a replacement but instead serviced it. Now after a year now I again had the same problem and they were not ready to either service or replace it.
These guys just lure into buying new frames but a very poor customer service.

Do not buy your power glasses from here. You're being warned. They are selling low quality lenses which get scratches in the glass itself within 2 months of use. I have previously bought polycarbonate lenses which look crystal clear though they are old. Also the frame doesn't deliver the quality as per price.
